I finally got a chance to take my Micro Stik home with me from work today. I am not going to lie, you practically have to perform secret agent maneuvers to escape Hobby Lobby with a Micro Stik these days. They have been such a hit since they came out that we can almost not re-stock them fast enough before we have to start back ordering for the next shipment.
After I casually walked past my co-workers humming the mission impossible theme as I made my way to my car, I slipped into my car and brought MY Micro Stick to my apartment where I decided I would try some “complex flight”. I took my plane outside and flew it around the apartment grounds a bit to see how it would handle. I (and anyone who happened to stumble on my flight exercise) was really impressed with the power this little R/C plane was packing. Sure I crashed a time or two… or eight, but I just kept flying it. Over all it handled great in the 3-5 MPH winds that were blowing around us. It is no wonder these little fliers are so hard to keep in stock back at work.
